How To Remember Taking Daily Medicines Without Fail ?

This is a very common Problem which almost every Sr Citizen faces Daily. It can be a problem for other individuals also.The Following Method will ensure Regular Taking of Medicines. 


Step 1
 
Understanding the Proper Dosage of Daily Medicines. 

Understanding the Proper Dosage of Daily Medicines.

  1. Please Note down the types of medicines and respective doses to be taken daily. In the Image Example There are 4 types of tablets prescribed and Tablet No. 2 is to be taken twice a day and the rest are to be taken once a day. 
  2. In the Example above therefore 5 tablets of 4 types in all are prescribed to the patient in a day.


Step 2


Cutting the Strips of Medicines of All Types.

  1. Please Cut Each Type of Medicine Strips separately.
  2. In the Example therefore 4 strips of tablets will be cut separately.
  3. Please Take the quantity of Medicine Strips to be taken in a month or suitable period.
  4. Please Take the quantity of Medicine Strips proportional to daily doses.
  5. In Our Example 60 tablets of Tablet 1, 30 tablets each of other three types will be required in a month.


Step 3

Storing the cut tablets of all Types in Monthly Storage Box.

  1. Please take a Plastic Container with partitions as shown in the image.
  2. Please keep each type of tablets in separate partition.
  3. Please Do Not take the Daily Dosage of any medicine from this box directly.


Step 4


Keeping Daily Dosage in Small Daily Box.

  1. The First task before tea in the Morning is to put all the tablets of dosage to be taken on that day in a small daily box.
  2. Please carry this small daily box with you in your purse, wallet or pocket without fail.
  3. Take the medicine throughout the day as per your scheduled times from this small box only and never from storage box .
  4. This will ensure the proper taking of medicines. If the Tablet remains in the small box, it means you have skipped. When it comes to your notice you can immediately take the missed tablet. If there is no tablet of any type in the small box, it means you have taken it.
  5. You can modify the technique suitable to your dosage and types of medicines prescribed to you.
